How to Paint Yellow

Hi Guys,

As a quick Tutorial, here is my way to paint Yellow on Armour plates for my Orks.
The colors I use are as follow, mentioning new and old Games Workshop names:

1 / Tausept Ochre / Old version of Balor Brown (Which is not as good as the old version by the way)

2/ Iyvanden Dark Sun / Averland SunSet (Also not as good, missing on picture)

3/ Bestial Brown.

4/ Mix Iyanden DarkSun and Golden Yellow ( New Equivalent Yriel Yellow, haven't tried it)

5/ Mix of 4, with White.1 : 1

6/ Mix of 5, with White,1 : 1

I based coat in Brown and White on the top.

 I then apply the first layer (1)

 The first highlight (2)

I then apply very watered down Brown in the recesses. (3)

 I continue with the highlights, this time on the edges with a normal brush (4)

I apply another layer with thinner lines (5)

 In the last step only the corners and high points, like the bolts receive the final highlight (6)

Here is the result once finished.

Kan's Boyz

Hi All,

No games for me this weekend, so I had time to finish the Ard'Boyz.
Mostly used Warhammer Black Orks and mixed them with regular Warhammer 40 000 bitz.
There are more Yellow than usual on my squads, but the result is quite nice.

Here are the pics:

I added an old Goff, and plan to include more vintage to the army soon.

 The Nob looks quite small compared to the regular boyz. Black Orcs are bigger than usual Boyz.
